With every type of attraction that you could think of, you'll never be short of interesting and exciting places to visit during your Holiday in Cornwall.

We have some of the best gardens to visit anywhere on the British mainland due to our mild climate, plus it's the home of the internationally renowned The Eden Project.

There are many beaches within quick and easy access of Carlyon Bay, some are within walking distance and some a short drive and most benefit from additional facilities. The South Coast beaches are generally more sheltered nestled between headlands and picturesque little harbours, compared to the more open North Coast although there are exceptions!

There are stunning historical sites maintained by the National Trust and English Heritage, including Lanhydrock House and Pendennis Castle. Or if you're looking for somewhere for children to let off steam try Crealy Great Adventure Park or Dairyland Farm World, which both have a wealth of outdoor attractions plus big indoor play areas should the weather take a turn for the worst.

We have national galleries and museums such as The Tate St Ives and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth and with our coastal location, marine attractions such as Charlestown, St. Michael's Mount at Marazion, the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek and Blue Reef Aquarium at Newquay are all well worth a visit.
